With a firm yet delicate touch….. Tigran plays what he says is "simply one of the most beautiful melodies I have ever heard". He's referring to the Armenian folk song "Mother, Where Are You?" which features on his recent release 'A Fable'. The song has also been recorded with the stunning soprano Gayane Movsisyan on his newly released EP 'EP No. 1' (Universal Classics/Verve).

Tigran wins French Grammy

Tigran Hamasyan, winner of the Thelonious Monk prize has been awarded a French Grammy last Friday; known as Les Victoires du Jazz/Pop. His award was for "International Album with French production". A FABLE was released in the UK/Ireland in September and can be purchased here (ROI delivery only).
